Temple Women & Families, the region’s only hospital exclusively dedicated to women’s health and family care, was designed to meet its community’s needs and to provide comprehensive support to patients at every stage of life.
Since opening in October 2025, neighbors and local organizations have embraced the hospital—including community service group Trinity 79, which recently provided a substantial donation of infant clothing, blankets, wipes, and diapers.
The gift—made in memory of Trinity 79 member Paytrienne Pough—will be essential for families at the facility, which provides obstetric, maternity, and neonatal care, as well as pediatric, women’s health, primary and specialty care, and diagnostic imaging services.
“Our community members are incredibly generous,” says Temple Women & Families Hospital Social Work Supervisor Maria Sierra-Ortiz, MSW, who helped facilitate the donation, and is part of the team connecting patients to local partners and providing a new model of integrated behavioral health care. “We’re so grateful for the support from Trinity 79, and from all of our neighbors.”
