Patient Care Assistant Lacresha Young recently earned the TUH-Main Campus Service Excellence Employee of the Month Award. She was singled out for going above and beyond for every one of her patients (and former patients!), as this excerpt from her nomination shows:
“I am delighted to nominate Lacresha for her unwavering dedication and exceptional compassion. She consistently exceeds expectations in her role at Temple. Her commitment to her patients is unparalleled, often visiting those she no longer cares for during lunch breaks. I have witnessed her combing patients’ hair, calling them on weekends to check on their wellbeing, and reassuring them that they are in capable hands. Even for patients she doesn’t directly care for, she makes a point to visit and extend her support. Her efforts are long overdue for recognition and will never go unnoticed. She always does the right thing, even when no one is watching.”
