View All News

The Temple Lung Center performed the first two treatments in the U.S. as part of the AIRFLOW-3 pivotal clinical trial. The trial is evaluating the efficacy of targeted lung denervation, in addition to medical care, to reduce moderate to severe exacerbations and related hospitalizations in patients with COPD. 6ABC-TV produced a story on Temple’s participation in the trial. The report featured Gerard J. Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the Temple Lung Center, and patient Mark Humphreys.
