Science magazine spotlighted a presentation that Tricia H. Burdo, PhD, Associate Professor of Neuroscience and in the Center for Neurovirology, and Associate Chair for Education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM), made at the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI). Dr. Burdo discussed the research that Temple is performing with CRISPR therapy in relation to HIV. The reporting also included HIV research by Kamel Khalili, PhD, Laura H. Carnell Professor and Chair in the Department of Neuroscience and Director of the Center for Neurovirology and the Comprehensive NeuroAIDS Center at LKSOM.
