Dr. Ajaykumar Rao Provides Perspective for Reuters Health Article on Study Which Found That Arterial Stiffness May Be Better Risk Predictor of Diabetes Than Hypertension

Ajaykumar D. Rao, MD, MMSc, FACP, Associate Professor of Medicine, Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, and Center for Metabolic Disease Research at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Research Director of the Temple Comprehensive Hypertension Program at the Temple Heart and Vascular Institute, provided perspective to Reuters Health on a study published in the journal Hypertension which found that while hypertension and arterial stiffness are both associated with diabetes, that arterial stiffness may be a better risk predictor. Dr. Rao was not involved in the study. The Reuters Health article was picked up by MD Alert and Medscape.
