The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University’s Office of Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, in collaboration with Temple Health and the School District of Philadelphia, hosted Health Careers Exploration Day at Kenderton School. The goal was to expose children in grades 5-8 to various job opportunities at all levels in the health care field and to build connections with professionals who work at Temple Health – the campus sits just one block away from the school. 6ABC highlighted the event on two of its broadcasts.
