Holly Greenwald, MD was nominated by Adam Ehrlich, MD, MPH, Medicine Section Chief of Gastroenterology, who wrote:
“Dr. Greenwald is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Section of Gastroenterology who is also intimately involved in medical education as the Associate Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship, in addition to assisting with the Internal Medicine residency. She maintains a referral practice for the management of a challenging group of GI patients: those with disorders of gut-brain interaction. She is working on a number of QI initiatives within the GI section.
Recently, she has spearheaded a pilot program within Temple’s School of Social Work to have a Social Work student in the GI clinic to help patients navigate the healthcare system. She is hoping to expand this to opportunities for dietician services for our patients.”
