Forbes magazine published its first-ever "America’s Best Employers by State" list on June 5, and Temple University Hospital ranked No. 33 in the state of Pennsylvania, among companies like Johnson & Johnson, Hershey’s, Vanguard, and others.
The rankings were based on an online survey of companies with at least 500 employees. Employees were asked their opinions on their current working conditions, salary, potential for development, and company image, as well as their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family.
