SICU nurse Amanda Robinson, RN was recently honored with TUH-Main Campus’ Service Excellence Employee of the Month Award for her outstanding dedication to her patients, as this excerpt from her nomination shows:
“I want to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care Amanda provided to our dad while he was in the surgical ICU. She was thorough, compassionate, and wonderful to speak with—I had plenty of questions!
During what has been a very stressful time for our family, she took her time to explain things clearly, listen thoughtfully, and never made us feel rushed. Her demeanor made us feel seen and respected as family members. Most importantly, we are confident that Dad is receiving excellent care. Amanda exemplifies what it means to be a great nurse.”
