The segment featured Antonio Di Carlo, MD, CM, FACS, FRCSC, Chief of Abdominal Organ Transplant Surgery at Temple University Hospital and Associate Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and kidney transplant patient George Patti. Patti received a life-saving kidney transplant at Temple. His wife Isabelle donated a kidney to him.
