How Long Does Physical Therapy Take?
A physical therapy program can last anywhere from two weeks to several months. Your physical therapist guides you through exercises you can do during therapy sessions and at home to rebuild your strength. Your therapist also demonstrates how you can modify or safely participate in daily activities to relieve pain and reduce your risk of re-injury. Throughout your sessions, your therapists evaluate your progress and update your treating physician on how you are recovering from your injury or managing your condition.
