- Use of impedance during esophageal manometry and esophageal pH monitoring to assess transit and reflux

Treatment Philosophy
My approach to patient care includes obtaining a careful patient history of the symptoms, obtaining carefully selected tests to evaluate the patient's symptoms, reviewing the results of the tests with the patient and deciding on the appropriate treatment for the symptoms and disorder together.

Dr. Parkman is an excellent clinician. His expertise in his field is worth some of the "fairs" given above. I feel disconnected from my care but nontheless am following Dr. Parkman's instructions. I would like enough time to find out why I have the conditions I have and more importantly once resolved, how to prevent them from happening again. One troublesome condition I feel Is not being addressed but I don't think Dr. Parkman would necessarily agree with that. There is a long time between contact/appointments with the doctor or NP based on Dr. Parkman's decision.
