Treatment Philosophy
My approach to patient care includes obtaining a careful patient history of the symptoms, obtaining carefully selected tests to evaluate the patient's symptoms, reviewing the results of the tests with the patient and deciding on the appropriate treatment for the symptoms and disorder together.
Patient Comments
I know Dr. Parkman is very knowledgeable in his field and is the best in the area in regards to treatment of Gastroparesis, but it is very disheartening to have been a patient there for so many years and to walk in to his office and he hasn't even taken 2 minutes to look over my chart. [...] I would wait in the room an extra 5 minutes for him to at least read the summary from my last visit so he knows a fraction about who I am as a patient.
Horrible, dr did not listen to anything I talked about he picked his nail the entire time. I was rushed out of the appt and the entire time I told him the test I had done already, I came to see him to have an out of the box type of appt to maybe think a little more then the normal and that was not the case.
Best doctor ive seen in a long time
The doctor clearly had not looked at my chart prior to walking into the room which was a little frustrating but still took the time to go through everything in the room with me.
