A. James Mamary, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, passed away on July 9th. Dr. Mamary was a 1999 graduate of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, completed his residency and fellowship at Temple, and then served as a professor and physician in the Temple Lung Center. In 2006, he was named the program director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. The Philadelphia Inquirer recognized his professional and personal accomplishments.
