Temple Health – Episcopal Campus is located on Lehigh Avenue in the heart of Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood. It is the main location for Temple University Hospital's behavioral health services, including a 118-bed Behavioral Health Center and an emergency Crisis Response Center.

The campus is also home to a full-service Emergency Department that treats more than 45,000 patients annually, a 21-bed inpatient unit, primary care and specialty physician offices, and state-of-the-art radiology services. Parking is free for all patients and visitors.

Getting Here By Car

Getting to Temple Health – Episcopal Campus is easy by car or public transportation. The hospital, which offers free self-parking, is close to major roadways as well as local SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) train and bus lines.

From North
  • Take I-95 South to Exit 25 (Allegheny Avenue/Castor Avenue)
  • Turn right onto East Allegheny Avenue and travel 0.8 miles to Frankford Avenue
  • Turn left onto Frankford Avenue and travel 0.7 miles to East Lehigh Avenue
  • Turn right onto East Lehigh Avenue to Episcopal Campus
From South
  • Take I-95 North to Exit 23 (Girard Avenue/Lehigh Avenue)
  • Merge onto North Delaware Avenue (North Delaware Avenue becomes Aramingo Avenue)

Free self-parking is available in two lots at Episcopal Campus:

  • Patient/Visitor Lot
    Located at the far end of the hospital driveway
    Hours: 5 a.m. – 9 p.m./seven days a week
  • Emergency Department Lot*
    Located at the ER entrance
    Hours: 24 hours a day/seven days a week

By Train
  • Take the Market-Frankford Line’s “A” train to the Huntingdon Street station
  • Walk one block north on B Street
  • Turn left onto Lehigh Avenue and walk ½ block to Episcopal Campus
By Bus
  • Take SEPTA bus route 54 to the Lehigh Avenue/A Street stop, which is directly in front of Episcopal Campus
