Uzzo, MD, MBA, Founding Director of the Fox Chase – Temple Urologic Institute and Chief Executive Officer of Fox Chase Cancer Center, brought the perspective of a nationally recognized cancer center leader, surgeon scientist, and long-standing advocate for discovery-driven, patient-centered oncology. Alexander Kutikov, MD, FACS, Chair of the Department of Urology at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Co-Executive Director, Fox Chase - Temple Urologic Institute, contributed deep expertise in urologic oncology, surgical innovation, and data-driven care delivery, alongside a track record of building high-performing academic programs. Jay Simhan, MD, FACS, Chair of the Department of Urology at Temple University Hospital and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and Co-Executive Director, Fox Chase - Temple Urologic Institute, added nationally recognized leadership in reconstruction, survivorship, and surgical education, paired with operational insight across complex health systems.

Together, they envisioned a single integrated institute that could transcend traditional institutional boundaries.
