The Temple Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at the Temple Neurosciences Center helps people with epilepsy and other seizure disorders find hope and treatment toward a life without seizures. We're a Level 4 Epilepsy Center, the top level of epilepsy care as designated by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. That means we provide the highest level of expertise and technology to diagnose and treat even the most complex cases of epilepsy.

Seizures are a sign of brain irritation and other health conditions. An accurate diagnosis can take time and involve many tests. When you choose Temple's Epilepsy Program, you're choosing experts who specialize in diagnosing and treating epilepsy. They combine skill with the highest level of diagnostic technology and services, such as advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures that pinpoint the type and location of seizures, providing the information needed to recommend the most effective treatment.

A Wide Range of Advanced Epilepsy Treatments

We know epilepsy and other seizure disorders affect you more than physically; seizures impact your quality of life. The Temple Comprehensive Epilepsy Program offers a wide range of advanced seizure-controlling treatment options to help control seizures and also help you regain control of your life. Whether it's medication, implantable anti-seizure devices or state-of-the-art surgical procedures, our team provides the most advanced treatments available. Our program also gives you access to cutting-edge clinical trials.

A Team Approach to Total Epilepsy Care

Level 4 accreditation means that we have advanced diagnostic, medical and surgical services; you can count on a team of specialists with advanced expertise and experience, too. That often means treating and managing epilepsy alongside other health issues, such as pregnancy, a heart condition or Alzheimer's disease. Our team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neuropsychologists, and nurses work together, along with other specialists as needed, to develop the best treatment plan based on your needs.

You can also count on resources and support to help you and your family cope with the physical and psychological effects of epilepsy and treatment. We're focused every step of the way on you and helping you live a life with no seizures.
