- Why Temple: During my PGY1 year at Temple, I had the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population and gain experience managing a wide range of infectious diseases. Through that experience, I was able to see firsthand the collaborative practice model at Temple and the close working relationships between members of the healthcare team. The PGY2 ID program offers diverse clinical experiences, opportunities for teaching and precepting, and the chance to work alongside the infectious diseases team in caring for complex patients. I also value the opportunity to learn from preceptors who are supportive and interested resident development. I have enjoyed working with and supporting the patient population at Temple and look forward to continuing to do so throughout the upcoming year.
